‘The Heavenly Host Program with Ottawa University’s Fredrikson Center and Campus Ministries, connects the Ottawa Community and OU students in many ways.’
*Time and Company – a second family while students are away from their homes
*Sunday Dinner – a place and time to share a meal
*Laundry – a familiar environment to do laundry
*Mentoring – the ability to share experience and expertise from your field of work
*Support – cheering in the stands or sharing in the holidays
‘Hosts and students participate in the program for a semester at a time which offers opportunities for relationships and shared experiences.’
Some families even open their homes for a residential stay!
